I am making a new map, where I have very many levels..
When I placed a metropolice on the level above the floor where the player spawns,, and when I look up, I can se the npc_metropolice's shadow..

This has happened before, but I haven't mind posting about it..

How do I make the shadow stay on only one brush face?
It's very annoying..

I could always split the brush in to and make a little space betwen them.. but that would take very long time because on some places the floor is viseble from the side wich makes me have to add loads of stuff hiding the hole..

I need an other way to fix it.. Please help. :)

(Searched the forum and found nothing,, ;) )

use info_no_dynamic_shadow or something, and apply it to that face. It won't cast a shadow but it will be better than having it leaking thru the floor and whatnot.

open the menu for the metro police (alt + enter)
then find "disable shadows" and put that to yes.
should do the trick

Nah, then I will not get any shadow at all,, I did what rabid said, but backwards.. lol, and that worked!

(I put the info_no_dynamic_shadow in the roof)

Thanks for the help anyway! :)
