anyway...
I can have a server running when my comp is up (which is pretty often), the only prob would be the sucky ping and that our network goes down every 4th hour (kill BBB). So... tell me what you think

well, i should be getting DSL in 1-6 days, so ill probably get a DS up for WON HL, over hamachi, for those of us without Steam HL because the damn thing says its already in use.

Just get with the program and deal with Steam as I see it. We heard the "omg steam sucks!!!1!1!oneone!!1!" stuff ages ago. They fixed it. It works perfectly fine, and if it doesn't, chances are the problem is in between the keyboard and the chair.
I just don't get the point of emulating a LAN network over the internet.

It is also bound to be slower, since all the traffic is encrypted!

I figured out from a friend, he is buying a server for a CSS clan and it costs ?20 pounds a year and if we split that up between 30 people then
So why not buy a server for TWHL, Iwannamap, Interlopers have members who gladly bought a server for the site.
