I looked through some natural selection maps for "mapping inspiration" and, with nobody there (offline) and the ambience, you realise how depressing the mod was meant to be. It comes to me, wouldnt it make a kickass movie. Id make it start out like, an infestation started and spread from the hera station. A unique military unit comes down and lands on that outside pad thing (because I like that huge steamy door thing,) and comes in to find the cause of it and kills all of them, gruesomely,

In short,       a better aliens-vs-predator,

if done well, yes. anything done well is a good movie.

I think Half-Life itself needs to be made into a movie.

Well, I assume Valve would have a big say in how the movie is directed, so I really don't think we need to worry about that.

HL would be ok, if done right, same with NS.

Half Life is essentially Die Hard with a HEV suit instead of a sweaty vest...and scientists...aliens...well, it wasn't much like Die Hard except for the whole one man running around taking on loads of people.

If there was a HL movie they would somehow have to make Gordon talk.. that would suck.. Good games should stay good games, not movies.. From the sounds of things they are making a Halo Movie... I think that will suck as well, the games are fun to play through, I dont think the movies will ever be as good as the games.

Yeah. It was Christmas in HL, and again in HL? ;).

Natural Selection would make a good movie provided that the only similarites between the movie and the game were that there are marines fighting aliens in space.
Of course with a good director it could happen, but it won't.

NS = pimpage movie
FEAR = OMG great ass movie

Anybody seen the Uplink movie?

Uplink? HL would suck as a movie. That as the whole point of Hl in the first place, to put you in his shoes, it was very much like being in a movie. So making a movie would demolish that.

The Uplink movie was availible at Clipland before Sierra had it removed.
