That's a picture of my radar when I play CS 1.6 now. Its been doing that ever since the engine update last week. The radar shows up as the sprite for the weapon I'm using(if I'm holding a nife it'll be the knife sprite, holding mp5 it's the mp5 sprite, etc). I'm not using a custom radar sprite.
Help.... anyone?

Holy shit. that shouldnt happen! the only time thats ever happened to me was when i asked the admin to set my health to 1231215491098753. But i didnt care i had unlimited health... (it was on health thing instead of radar..)

Did you change any of the files recently?

I haven't changed my sprite, I said so in the first post, read the whole thing. And a changed radar sprite wouldn't make it change according to what gun I'm holding.
PS: I already have spriteviewer.

Fine I'll try a re-installation. But, crystal, good god man. This is a forum not an IM conversation. Contrary to popular belief you do have time to spell out whole words and use grammar.

Why not just beg someone to send you a new sprite file? :|
Wouldn't it be a lot easier?
I could send it.
But you can only fix it if you got GFC-scape

Or he could just paste the file in a folder, CS recognises new files and relies on them if a folder contains a new file so in other words, if you add something in a folder, it uses that rather than the file in the GFC.

OH MY GOD PEOPLE READ MY FIRST POST!!!!!! ITS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE ACTUAL SPRITE, IF THAT WERE THE CASE IT WOULDN'T CONTINOUSLY CHANGE, IT WOULD STAY AS ONE SPRITE LIKE THE NORMAL RADAR, GOOD GOD!!!!!!!

GET THE POINT?!?!?!?!?!?!
For the record, reinstalling it didn't do shit, not surprising though all it does it delete your gfc and redownload it. It doesn't do SHIT to your dlls.

Well, short of reinstalling it, which is what I would do, you could uninstall the custom weapons sprites, cause that sure looks like a custom sprite to me, maybe the positioning in them got screwed up when the new update came out

Some of those sprites are blatantly custom. Try moving the custom materials out of the Steam tree and see what happens.

Its like a broken record, read 3 lines RIGHT above your post.

I'll move the sprites and tell you what happens, or better yet I'll show you. Obvisouly most of you can't read.

Get drastic. Remove steam. Delete the steam folder. Remove any trace of steam settings.

Re-install.

Renamed my sprites folder sprites1, because I didn't want to move or delete it.
Thank you Snpbond for suggesting the obvious that I should have tried in the first place, it worked.
