Well Hunter inspired me to make a comic of my own and although it isn't the best of quality, it has to be .jpg or the filesize if 7.5 MB...

You must understand I don't have PSP, I used Paint all the way...
That explains the dodgy bubbles

Well it took me a good 2 hours which is suprising as I only expected a good 30 mins...

The story is this headcrab called Tom, he is looking for Nova Prospekt, you'll find out why later.

it has a serious side, not just funny...I wouldn't call it funny anyway

Posing: 2/3 - Good but you used NPCs
Editing: 1/3 - Pictures were to small and fon t was difficult to read. Try Blambot.com for some good ones. I suggest Webletter bb or digital strip.
Story/Humor: 2/3 - Gave me the chuckles

Bonus: 0/1 - NOBONUSPOINTFORYOU!

Overall: 5/10. A average comic. Keep it up. Get larger frames, better fonts and get better speach bubbles, they look horrible! I suggest you get GIMP. Google for it, it's like photoshop, but free. Much better than paint.

What kind of bonus are you asking? What do I need for a bonus mark?

Yeah I did use NPC's and a few ragdoll's but you try forcing a headcrab onto a zombie

Yeah well I used the picture size from Concerned...I thought it was a bit too small but I guess thats taught me a lesson for the future.

I'll work more on humour and i'll try out Gimp, i've been meaning to for some time.

Oh yeah, if you spawn a zombie, and shoot it in the head(crab), using a pistal, the zombie should die with the headcrab on, so you can pose that.

I tried but my Gmod doesn't seem to let me pose dead NPC's...Well i'll try better on the next one, that comic alone took me 2 hours because I had to design template, resize images and make each bubble so that it fitted in...Not bad tbh for 2 hours work so i'll leave it as that and enjoy the rest of the comments.

made it a bit brighter for you habboi... i congratulate you for managing that in paint!

Its very good, you hitched on to a nice story, but i think you should have posed more than using live spawns.

best bit is when Tom tries to get through the door.

Along with the font, i had to think about some things to make them make sense due to your speech bubble layout. Make the person (or headcrab) speaking first's speech bubble closest to the top left, and the second, towards the bottom right. it's a human perception thing ,easier to read.

yeah, its somewhat hard to pose as is, but I think he did a great job, the brighness of the orignal was good too

Below average. Some things were funny, most was just cheezy and annoying, like the Freeman quote. Also work on spacing your bubbles on how they talk, in the third from the last panel, the one where he is talking to other headcrabs, it reads backwards from bubble positioning(and other scenes too). Nice idea though, but a more serious tone would be cooler, not so much that it would be considered boring and dark or anything, but stupid humor I don't think is the way to go.

Seriously, is someone actually going to try and make a comic that isn't related to the HL2 universe/ripped off from HLComic? The "silly fun" aspect of the HL2 World works fantastically well for HLComics because its original, but when EVERY single damn comic tries to emulate its humour, it gets annoying.

He really does have a point, Ant...
i mean, I think it is pretty original, following the life of a headcrab... And Unforseen Consequences is pretty original too.. i even amde a map for it (ok, a shit map, but still a map :P)
And the HL2 story is fun to rip... HLcomic rips it with a guy following in Freeman's footsteps through the game only... before Freeman.
Unforseen Consequences rips it with a guy trying to go about everyday life in a combine controlled city.
The Adventures Of Tom rips it by following a sensible, but silly headcrab. They are different, but yes, most jokes are ripped off HLcomic, but they were probably ripped off everything else XD

Ant, i agree with you, in time when total conversion mods get released and there enough costum content is people will use it.

There is an logical order to the bubbles in a comics you don't just place them in the closest place to the speaker. You read from the right to the left and from the top to the bottom. You mixed it up when Tom talked to the other headcrabs.

Now that I think of it what heppend to the genome? It was just an advenced stage of the zombie, and it's better then those fast and poisionus zombies. : It both of them together... well sort of

And what I thought he meaned by "You only used NPC's though" was that he only used characters.. Wich sounded odd.

Ragdoll/NPC, they are the same, just, ragdolls are dead NPC's, and ragdolls doesn't have to be NPC's, you know!

I've seen many fast zombies and I don't think they look alike! The fast zombie is much thiner then the genome. Genomes are also poisionus while fast zombies aren't.
