I am looking for a single-player HL2 mod, along the lines of Garry's Mod, where there isn't much point, or one that has it's own weapons and Storyline, not just the HL2 single player with more guns or something. Of course I would prefer a finished mod, but one where you can download a beta or something would be fine I guess. Any suggestions?

You might like Strider mod which lets you drive helicopters and Striders, I haven't got the latest version in ages so I dunno whats new, in fact i'm gonna look now, thanks for reminding me

Their custom coastmap is pretty fun as well, with the heli and the APC and the striders and teh sniperrifles and such.

By any chance is the custom coast map the map with the one mountain on the left and on the right is just sky...Cause thats an sdk map

Well thanks for the mods, the metasis was cool, but short. And the Strider mod was cool, but I think they need boundaries cause it is really easy to go out of the level in a strider, and probably easier to go out in a heli. It also got boring after awhile.
