All things christmas go here.

Whether it be debates about 'the christ out of christmas' or simply wishing to spread some holiday cheer, post here to prevent the spam of threads that i can predict.

I personally would like to start by saying
"get over it you christian f0rkers (you know who you are) commercialisation pwns and you know it!
If we're all god's children, what was so special about Jesus?"

and

"Merry christmas everyone!
Especially the great moderator team, Habboi my bumchum, Madcow my anti-drug, and of course Muzzleflash, Unbreakable, Coldfeet, Saco, M_Gargantua and Pepper, without whom, Hostage situation would be nothing!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas wasn't originally a christian tradition, but was a (IIRC) mesopotanian tradition to celebrate 12 days of.. something something. Then, around 150 AD the roman emperor decided to make it a christian holiday, cause it was damn popular. The date of birth of Jesus hasn't been confirmed.

Marry christmas and marry libiration day(from school)
you wish to engage your school and christmas? :D

why record with videos. Record with DVD's, much more space.

As Elon said, liberation from school is a nice thing. Although i swear the school is breaking off later and later to christmas..

Anyway, my merry christmas's as follows. This list comes in order of whom i can remember to say 'merry christmas' too.

Merry christmas to The Hunter, M_Garg and Urban for starting those little pieces of fiction and updating them...well, at least you updated them ;)

Merry christmas to the mods, for whom work hard round the clock (quite litterally, considering timezones) and help many people.

Merry christmas to those excellent mappers, and those whom had helped with my problems in the forums. You know who you people are.. :)

Merry christmas to the MV mods as well, whom started up a 'review-a-thon'

Merry christmas to those superb comic makers, sending up a nice spree of somewhat hillarious comics to compliment the cheerful season. You know who you people are as well!

Merry christmas to competition winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and everyone whom earned rewards.

And finally, Merry christmas to everyone else!

*2GB RAM module. Pure pwnage.
*30" Monitor Dell/Apple

Heres what I am likely to get :) :

And red, books have many uses (apart from the obvious) hers a small list

1)Burn them to keep yourself warm.
2)shread them up and throw them around, having your own parade.
3)Depending on the book in question, you can use it to start your own religion
4)Good for hitting people with, (especially hardbacks)
5)Sell them for some good dough.
6)Eat them
7)Use them for traction on icy days.
8)Barricade things with them
9)Use them to form a small podium in which to addresses your minions
10)sit on them

And many, many more! :D

I don't see anything wrong with giving gifts on Christmas, so long as we keep in mind that it is honouring and remembering our Lord and Savior's birth.
Posted 19 years ago2005-12-20 18:25:56 UTC Post #153576
I got F.E.A.R. from my wife for Christmas.

The holidays is the perfect time for mapping. No school, a break from work... Oh yeah, that and playing lots of games and ignoring all your loved ones. That's the spirit.

/me runs to a dark room and starts shooting others with a SMG.

I wouldn't say that my family "celebrates" christmas, it's the same every year. A bunch of relatives shows up and get drunk. But hey, it's tradition
honouring and remembering our Lord and Savior's birth.

Ah, FEAR, such a great game. but sadly, if your anything like me, you will have become numb to the fear by the ending, which would accually be quite scary.

a word of advice sat, ONLY play at night with all the lights off, the game is lost if it aint dark around you
