Well, I instaled BF2 and tried to access my old demo account.
I started BF2, and ran it in internet mode, and I logged in on my old account.
But it stuck while trying to login.
So, it went stuck on the "Connecting to account server screen".
So I restarted, turned off microsoft antispywhare, and checked so BF2 wasn't blocked in the firewall (wich it wasn't)
So I tried again and the same thing happened.

Then, I started it through game spy, wich wanted to update the game, so I downloaded the update and ran it, but while patching the game, the update got stuck too!
So I had to shut down the computer.

Now, when I try to run BF2, nothing happens.
The game doesn't even start up!
What's wrong?

(The "Connecting to account server problem" occoured when I played the Demo too)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

How long did you let the update be before you killed it?

Try repatching, and if that doesn't work, uninstall BF2, reinstall it, get the latest patch from the official site, and try repatching it with that.
