Sounds will play fine in my map but when I restart the round, theres no sound. Gunfire, footsteps, etc will still play, but anything played through an ambient_generic wont work. Some setting I missed or is it an engine error?

Show us the ambient_generic setup.
Both flags and normal.

If they seem to be okay, try triggering them, just as a test.

If this is for CS:S the map doesn't restart so what makes you think the sounds restart?...You gotta trigger them.

Ambient sounds need to be triggered on each match start, for each CS:S round, use a logic_auto to trigger all your ambient_generics whenever the match begins (output is called 'OnNewGame').
