My mum wants to connect her computer to our TV, and her graphics card has a 9-Pin connector, as shown below (B)

Im not sure, but I think your card has to be compatible to do that. Usually it has an extra port and comes with a cable to to the job. Perhaps that card cannot do it?

Is there a joint connector or adaptor you can latch onto one of those. I could certainly do some research, my school has much of this kind of stuff.

huh? all we got was the card - preinstalled, no wires, no adaptors, etc

it is labelled s-video, and says that it is possible to connect this card to a TV.

You'll need a 9 Pin S-Video cable.

Get an S-Video cable, stick it into the S-Video input on your TV if it has one, if it doesn't, I'm sure you could find an adapter..

Go to your local Electronics store, you can find one, ask for an S-Video cable, I had to get one for my DVD player a year back when they weren't very compatible.. Keep searching, you will find one. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062064&cp=&origkw=s+video&kw=s+video&parentPage=search Look Here, this should be what you are looking for.

yeah, but it MUST be 9-pin, all my search results are 4-pin or 7-pin, but I have tried and these DO NOT fit!

Ask for a 9-pin one, then. I think I had to for my laptop's.

You sure that a special adapter didn't come with the card?

My Geforce has a 9 pin connecter designed for it's custom adapter, which splits into s-video, composite, and component.
