Yeah thats quite good, I'd try something like that but well I'd stuff it up big time.

physics lagged my comp too badly to do that. i made 8 dominoes and thought it was sweet.

The squish at the end wasall too perfect. :glad:

Old, but good. I've been challenged to make a hl1 - dominoe map, according to this vid.

i didn't know it was possible to 'kill' breen in regular hl, or is this g-mod? pretty sweet anyway, reminds me of that Honda advert a while back - that was great!

Here I go again... What the heck is a dominoe?
Posted 18 years ago2006-05-05 13:30:10 UTC Post #178573
Dominoes is a game consisting of lining little platic or wooded pieces next to each other corresponding to the dots painted onto them

These pieces are easily stood on end, and at one point, someone decided to line them up and let them tumble (similar to as seen in the video). When objects react in this way (on action causes another action to occur) it is referred to as the domino effect.

I actually think I posted, or someone posted the same video a while ago. I have attempted it on some random map, but it was pretty stupid. It started when you pushed a button, and made this pole extend across a pool, then it rolled a cillinder down a slope, then did some dominoe stuff, then went up steps around the pool and back down steps. Most of it was just random dominoes falling, no fancy pattern. That was when I used to play a lot of gmod. but yea, on youtube, there are alot of these, alot....

Still a pretty sick demonstration of physics :)

(sick = AWESOME)

I've been toying with killing Breen in a simple test map - and I had NO IDEA you could shoot the dude right in the head LOL. I damn near fell on the floor laughing at it. Didn;t expect it at all.

Not really that brilliant. More like childs play. If they actually made somthing like this in a serious map (like several combine walls colliding with each other and devistating somthing) it would be cool.
