I have the demo for Ballistics, a very high speed racing game where you are magnetically linked to the side of a tunnel and you can go past mach 2! Unfotunately, it IS ademo. Anyone know of any high speed racing games like this that aren't cars? Because any car racing game will rarely get past 200 mph. Ballistics goes up to any speed (actually the number a long variable can hold) so it's as fast as your reflexes. Fasted I got to was 1500mph

torus trooper is PC, and its free, and on extreme dificulty you can go at a remarkably well simulated 9000km/h

I was referring to the gamecube reply.

Yeah I've played tt (found it on PC Gamer) but I'm looking for a racing game, not a shooter. I can't find ballistics anywhere, not to mention is has some annoying bugs.

Heck we dont even know what happends when you got 9000kmh. So how can you simulate it?

Pepper thats not that fast. It's far slower then the lightspeed which is 300,000 km per second.(or more) I think that spaceships today travel that fast... or more.

Need for speed: Most wanted

If you have driving skills, it will be the best racing game you've ever played.

He wanted something speedy, not some EA crap.

Wipeout (as Elof mentioned) is pretty speedy, which you can probably emulate. There was a version for the N64 and a few for the Playstation.

I'll have you know NFSMW is very enjoyable, even though developed by the horrid mess that is EA. It's fun racing, not very hardcore. If you want something pro, try the swedish-made (I think) GTR, I haven't played it, but it's gotten some good reviews.

Actually, need for speed is one of the few games that EA didn't ruin.

Midnight club is better though ;) .

Noooo cars = bad! Cars = mortal speed limitations. I'm looking for something where you don't have time to blink.
