Holy Mother of Sweet Jesus! I almost wet my panties out of excitement watching this trailer.

It reminds me of a Pixar movie, like "The Incredibles" or something. It's fucking amazing. After the video finished, I forced my wife to watch it too--TWICE. Then I ran into the living room, bouncing and hollering.

Befoer you question my sanity and mental maturity, I gotta get me some of these, pronto! Valve, get your asses movin' and finish this game. I'll be the first one to buy it.

TF has always been cartoonish, buts it gonna be all about Fortress Forever when its out.

Hmm. I just rewatched the video. I can't really see anything to get mega excited about. It looks nice. Fairly cartoony which I am not sure is good or bad.
But there wasn't anything really in the movie, the most detailed bit was with the scout, it actually showed him doing something other than rendered actions.

I want it, in my pants. It looks sexy as hell.

I love the soldier the most, I think. Hitting himself in the head with the shovel and whatnot :>

Oh yeah, it really does look good! At first i was like 'meh, Team Fortress 2, whatever', then i watched the trailer through Steam and.. wow.

Each of the characters seems to have a very distinct visual characteristic which is cool, the Sniper looks like an Aussie. ;D

Yes, Im more excited about FF than TF2. Cartoon graphics look good, but still, FF looks better. Its made by the community for the community

I think TF2 will have really great gameplay, while FF will be TFC with better graphics. TFC had really great gameplay mind you, but TF2 should be an improvement over it.

I think that FF will be like TFC, but they've changed/added stuff then think would be fun, because they are the community, and they know what the community wants

TF2 ftw. I am so glad Valve took the initiative and did something that wasn't just a direct port. The cartoony graphics suit the game perfectly! I can't wait to get my hands on this!

I think FF will be better, but who knows... Young minds, fresh ideas

FF will follow the legacy set by TFC while TF2 will be more a new game (or so I think). Having never played TFC before Valve's new vision will definately be my pick.

Fortress Forever looks too much like HL2, it uses too many of the original HL2 textures and props. Team Fortress 2 is going to rock, it's got a unique visual style only certain games have ever been able to pull off, the animations all look top notch (and very comical), and Valve are bound to stick some nifty little features in. GO TF2.

I must say that the new cartoony look is more uhm,, (lack of english, so I'll just use..) looks more pwny!
It's certainly more fun than the old look, which was quite boring.

But the ship for example, is just too much in my opinion.

I think that will change during the time of progress.
Sure, the first versions will have a very "HL2y look" but the more they work on it the less HL2 will be able to be seen in it.

I am surprised that there haven't been any more avatars that are inspired by TF2 characters.

Even though I chose the Medic to be my avatar, I am probably going to play the Scout. It's just more suitable to my personality and gameplay style. I like running, and I like to be fast and punctual.

For CS:S, I am always the one who rushes to the encounter point or the bombsite first.
