Hi, im cappy a new member here and beginner mapper... i was wondering if someone could help me getting entities that valve have on their maps, (like dust, for example) to put on my map. i already have them spawned in my map and i can see it but when i run it in game it does not appear.

1) is this HL1 or source? it belongs in either HL engine or source engine
2) what do you mean by entities not appearing? they shouldn't be visible anyway. if you mean props, then they aren't appearing because your pairing the wrong prop with the wrong entity type, for example, a clock is a prop static, while a can is a prop_physics

First of all, is this for Source or Half-Life? You should have put it in the corresponding section.

Anyway, assuming it's for HL, what is it exactly that's a problem? Are you working with brush based entities, and they won't appear, or are they point based? Most point based entities don't actually show up when you play the map. For example, a light entity would emit light from where you placed it, but you won't actually see the lightbulb sprite.)

EDIT: Meh, way too slow...
