Finding a free WebHost is not hard. Finding a free WebHost with support for a private forum (for a Mod Team) is VERY hard. We can find free webhosts and free forum software, but none that support eachother.

why do they have to support each other? cant u just link from the webhost to the fourm?

btw avidgamers was good for clans

Yeah, Arcan is right. Just link to the forums from your site, and give them both the same layout.

No, I mean I can not find a webhost that supports forums. We do not even have the forums yet. We have access to SMF but have no webhost to install it on.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I took a closer look at the avidgamers site, and set up our forum there. It isn't too bad i guess, it forces you to pay if you want to customize the look very much, and you also have to pay to have any ftp. But that's ok, we can deal with a simple forum for contact. It is more than enough.

If you have any good suggestions for good ftp sites that we could link to through our forum though, that would be great.

if i remember correctly you can change avid gamers tie layout. you gotta be good in HTML though. i got some neat scripts that add cool stuff but nothing with layouts.

free forums are all over the place though

lets c if i can remember some from my runescapian days.....

invision free
proboards
phhpfm (fullymodded, freaky stuff)
invision power board

u should get the main site just by googling these. most of them are free and if ur good you can host php forums on ur site, maybe dark tree might be able to host the php stuff for you.

you basicly download a zip file from the php main site( free if i remember) then u upload and unzip it on some free webhost. pretty complicated but then again i was 14 when i messed around with that stuff :/
