start by making a detailed description of everything you've done.

From compile tools you're using to what your compile settings are.

verify if you aren't using space on your map name like "my first map.bsp"... it should be separated by underlines "my_first_map.bsp"

I just wanna make sure that the program works as it should , then i will build a advanced map. The building sction is not problem , its to try the map by pressing F9! So please help me :)

What ever happened to the good ol' days of mapping when you figured out the problems for yourself and used tutorials. New mappers are so spoiled having seasoned mappers offering every solution, and not making the noobie put any legwork into a project.

This is a pretty common problem. I suggest wiping your configuration, and setting up hammer again from scratch, following a beginner tutorial to the tee. then come ask for help if you can't get it working.

If CS can't find it then either the BSP isn't in the right folder as in your settings are wrong or your map has an error and hasn't created a BSP.

Post your Compile Log so we can check for errors and post your settings with print screen and imageshack.

The WADS you used couldn't be found.

This is caused if .wads are not in the proper directory (hl/valve or cs/cstrike)

I would suggest using nem's batch compiler from http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?c=103

It has a wizard that helps you set it up for CS 1.6, or whatever mod your mapping for. I've never even used the F9 to run map (hammer always crashed for me)

The batch compiler also makes it easy to change compile settings.

hold on your using steam AND retail?

But yes, your problem should be within not having the .wads there.
