 I just rewrote my very large thread for the second time, and when I posted it, I got a "You are not logged in!" message. I was.

The first time I tried to post it, I got an error too.

Something has to be done. Prehaps username/password verification when your posting it, incase you dont want to be logged out, or prehaps instead of a new page with the message, it appears under the edit window.

Please do something! :(

Or do what I do and copy it before posting. But yeah it can be annoying if you don't.

Doesn't hitting "Back" in your browser bring you back to the posting page? You can copy the text (provided the browser saved it (Opera does for me)) and log yourself in. Then just post again.

This is why you copy your post before hitting submit.

I HATE when that happens.

If anonymous posting is back, it will still be posted, though your name will not be there.

that seems... fine to me...

SEEMS fine.

You'll regret anonymous posting.

yeh.. If you use opera, it saves the writing you had on the previous page. This way, when that problem happens.. you can just hit the back button and everything you typed is there.

We have no full-time or part-time coders on the site at the moment. I can only do XHTML and the like, not PHP.

Always happens, when I write long MV comments/forum posts.
Though going back and re-posting always works.
<3 Opera.
