Two words:

Electile Dysfunction.

The thing about this is that schools now are willing to do anything to prevent another Columbine. But they're only going after symptoms, not causes (pettyness, bullying, quarreling). We can ban all the things we want, expel kids for any suspicious behavior, but school shootings still occur.

(There's a also a hint of bigotry when it comes to reporting shootings. When the shooter is poor/ a "bad" ethnicity, they just say he was troubled and the parents were letting him or her worship satan/ abuse animals. When the shooter is asian, they hint that all asians are one homogenous gaming, mentally-ill group ready to shoot up their work/ school/ mall. But when the shooter is white, and from a well to do family, the news searches high and low for a motive. Not whiteness (you never hear it was a "anglo-saxon" or "white" shooter), not wealth (rich kids get bored and cause trouble, some acts recorded for posterity on youtube), neighboorhood (everyone goes to watch their football team lose), or parenting. It's because he or she didn't listen to mainstream pop music/ not in band, 2 sports, & 5 clubs to keep him or her busy/ played GTA/ wore non-mainstream clothes/ lives in the US, thus granting him or her an endless supply of cheap "assault semi-automatic .50 caliber armour-piercing baby-killing machine guns." It's never bcause they're white. Almost everyone of these school shooting broadcast on 24-hour news networks had been perpetrated by white males.)

First: Kudos to Dave for not being a retard.

Second: The map looked pretty good, neat, and I wish I could get a hold of it so I could try it out. Anyone who doesn't see this kids artistic ability is a damn crack-head and needs mental tutoring. Just the fact he was able to open and configure the editor is good enough.

Although I am an American, I agree with SOME statements. Our government needs to burn. I wish (and in the same way don't wish) for 2008 to come. 2008 = No Bush. But unfortunately, we might get Hilary Clinton (she was our president already, from 92-00, she just went under Bill's name). I think it is really stupid things like this are happening, and notice that before VT, before 9/11, before Columbine or Oklahoma City, an act like this (provided none of this happened and it was 2007 already) would be ignored by authorities. I can almost guarantee that this would have been congratulated and not frowned upon.

If Hilary becomes president, America will somehow literally end up below sea level... Hopefully not before I'm 21 (in which case I might move to Germany or England).

Well, you could just make a blank WAD and play the map without textures. It would be ugly, but you could get an idea of the general quality.

I must be looking at the wrong map because everyone seems to like it and I seem to think it looks quite ugly.

Haha this is ridiculas, I enjoy drawing (not even mapping) things in my sketchbook, most of them concept art of military vehicles and weapons, which are for the game Im making and mostly just for fun. If the police find me drawing art will they also arrest me for suspected weapon design?

Meh, I don't mind your lifestyle - American and "European" culture (it's several countries, mind) is identical, compared to say Asian. It's more often your country's imperialistic foreign policies that tend to tick people off.
Honestly, I couldn't care less what music you listen to, or what clothes you wear, but when a country's policies affects the rest of the world, it becomes an issue. Especially when it has to do with unjustified wars and downright harmful economic interests.
