If you want SD models like my barney:

http://planetquake.com/aow (Sven Co-op section)
http://sdmodels.cjb.net (Loads of models, but only a few have been uploaded so far)

Very highly recommended. Especially the Riot Shield Barney (he has a shield that he hides behind, and it works! Really handy having a stronger ally).

I don't remember posting this...have you by any chance been editing that thread we were using as a "chatroom" earlier, Seventh? Yes

The riot shield barney is excellent, but one of the highlights is Ambient.Impact's excellent HGrunt. Actually, come to think of it, all of his models are of an excellent quality.

NOTE
Many of these models have transparent sections. These will only appear transparent if you:

A: Use Steam, since it has model transparency coded in
B: Download the transparency dlls from the HIT forums (http://hl-improvement.com). I think they're in one of the stickies in the model releases thread. Download them, and save them over the originals in C:SierraHalf-Life. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU USE STEAM. It already has transparency, and the new dlls may stop it from working properly.

Also, if you want to see transparency in models without playing HL, download Jed's HL model viewer. It's an upgraded version of the normal HL model viewer from MilkShape 3D's website, and it supports transparency. You can also change it in the viewer like chrome effects, saving the job of editing the model's .qc file.

Yea I love those models. But I have to say, I got the alien versus predator style models to replace my scientists and barneys, and the max payne ammo pickups, and they all look pretty good in game

Is this REQUIRED? or will the scis fricking glasses just go blue?
Cause i can live with that ;)

the scis fricking glasses will just go blue

Then again, you could just download the DLLs? The ones that I downloaded that do nothing?

EITHER:

Download the transparency dlls and save them over the original dlls which didn't have transparency coded in

OR

Use steam, which already supports transparency

Seventh:

If they do nothing, you put them in the wrong folder. They go in your HL directory, in my case C:SierraHalf-Life
They should overwrite two of the old dlls with the same name.

ALSO:

If you want to test transparency in models without playing HL, download Jed's HLMV (There's a link somewhere in the HIT forums)

Wrong place. They shouldn't be in any mod's folder (valve counts as a mod folder). Those are in the valve folder. C:SierraHalf-Life is where they go, not C:SierraHalf-Lifevalve. I said that right at the start...
