You need run game once before making mod/map for it. So, run HL2/CSS/etc - cache will be decrypted and mod will run fine.

I played CS:S real fast, same problem once I tried SDK again :(

That got me nowhere... all I found were MORE forum boards of the same exact thing... people asking questions and getting "Hey just GOOGLE it!"

Thanks anyways, I'll just have ot develop the map on here, then put a batch compiler on the laptop and deal with it THAT way.

UPDATE: Well, your first advice was actually true, but you HAVE to run HL2 first, not even just CS:S - I had ONLY d/l CS:S and was trying to run the SDK afterwards.....

Sorry for above, I'm tired of all the problems I run into LOL
