it was just a quick draw- up. I like the eye like that. And it's done in photo-shop so it can be resized. The final image is gonna be like a 100mb jpeg like.. 300dpi or something crazy huge like that.

Looks like the backdrop of a hard core neo nazi band to me.
Here're some things that suck:
? The resolution. Shit's blurry and it just ain't nice.
? The icon or whatever. Just a random symmetric icon with red and white? Lame. Get something that actually represents the band.
? The eye. Worst cut out ever, I mean look at the right upper side of it, what the fuck. The actual eye COULD do if it weren't for the horrible lens flare, and the dastardly 4-colour gradient that compromises the shadow.
? The colours. Sepia red and gray, whoop de doo. Make something that stands out.
Things that don't suck:
? The font, I actually kind of like it. Too much whitespace between the words though.
What it needs: More grunge, less suckiness.

You don't have to really look at it to see the blocky cutout.
Really though, nobody's going to take you seriously if you can't even make a decent background. It doesn't have to be really good, or even that cool, it just has to look cleanly made, well done, and not thrown together in three minutes.

I guess my eyes have become attuned with it then 
Mind you I?ve been a bit lazy and left loads of image files on the desktop because it makes it easy to edit when doing web design. Same goes for mod folders and songs.

I did and got all 4 endings I didn't even bother trying to get all-weapon mode, though. Good game, albeit pretty cheesy at some points.
