I'm having shit-tons of problems with my Zoner's Tools. I've been out of mapping for some time, and I'm just now getting back into it. I've had to redownload all my tools, and for some reason, even though I'm sure I have the same versions, things aren't working the same.

My door's don't block light when told to. I set it to "opaque" or "opaque + embedded" and they still DON'T block light.

I can't find a single Zoner's wad that has NULL in it.

If I make my own NULL and try to do a -wadinclude, it doesn't INCLUDE the wad. No matter what syntax I try.

For that matter, it also ALWAYS uses ALL wads in my list, regardless of whether or not I set the parameter for listing only wads with textures used in the map.

Does anybody know why this is or can give me an exact cut and paste/screnshot of the correct syntax?

In the very least, why the fuck don't my doors block light anymore?

http://twhl.co.za/forums.php?action=viewthread&str=compilator&type=1&pg=1&id=14161

that should take care of your compile issues, as the wadinclude function is fool proof.

you're only supossed to use a maximum of 8 wads in each map. That can screw up a compile as well.

check the zoners links, or maybe someone can email you the zoners wad. Me, I can't right now as i don't have access to my computer ATM (im in the school's computer lab)

And for the blocklight thing, any brush based entity will not block light.

ANd.... though i highly recommend using the compilator, the syntax for the -wadinclude is this::

in the $CSG compile comand in exeprt mode just put this(without quotes):

"-wadinclude wadname"

you don't have to have ".wad" at the end of the filename, just make sure the wad is in the correct directory
