How-to:

1. Paste this into Notepad (or whatever), changing the text as desired:

[General]
Manufacturer=Captain Pugwash
Model=The Black Pig

Save it as c:windowssystem32oeminfo.ini (overwrite the original if necessary)

2. For the nice pretty image, get a picture that's 180x115 pixels, and save it as c:windowssystem32oemlogo.bmp.

For transparency, reduce the image to 256-colour before saving. The last palette entry will be transparent.

Simple trick for system builders like myself. Also, if anyone is using anything lower than 2000, save the oem files in System, not System32 otherwise it wont take effect

Yeah, I should've mentioned that. I know it works with Me, presuming any 32-bit Windows (95 and upwards), system for 9x and system32 for NT-based.
