To my knowledge it just has to be small enough.

awww i'm trying to make a 4 x 8 foot wall that you can pick up and move around, so i'm guessing it will be too big? If i use a model and prop_physics or prop_dynamic?

If the brush is too big to be picked by using it, you can still pick it up with the gravity gun, just make sure you check allow gravgun pickup or something similar in the flags.

You could have a smaller, nodraw func_physbox or more that one, all parented to each other, can't you? Maybye you could make the wall hollow? (2 units thick?) I don't know much about source mapping, but just a few thoughts.
