Kudos to those snipers.

So that's what happens to those CS players who dominate the entire server with their sniper rifles.

SNIPERS?!
Sorry, I don't actually have anything to say. This has been all over the news.

I just wish more nations would be like the US and France and not just give in and hand over millions of dollars in ransom money, making the problem even worse.

I was watching the Colbert Report last night. (For all those who don't know, it's the best news program on TV. Highly Satirical, but the news is presented in an 'in your face' highly-amusing fashion)
Anyway. They covered how 3 navy snipers dropped in the water, boarded a ship, and shot 3 shots to kill 3 people.

They then played the clip from Team America : "America... FUCK YEAH! Saving the day from the mother-**** terrorists!!"

It was wonderful.

Snipers rule!

I know how effective sniping can be when it comes to accomplishing an objective.

When I play Far Cry 2, I don't use heavy artillery, RPG, or big explosions to attack. I snipe from very far away, and move my position often so I can eliminate the entire camp of enemies without even getting shot at once.

Since we are in the subject of snipers, I feel the need to share this info I came across just now dealing with this topic. The U.S. military has been developing for years now a series of non-lethal weapons in all shape and sizes. To make this post short and to the point, there is a particular weapon story making the rounds right now online due to the current situation with the pirate problem. Anyway, the weapon in question is known as the "Dazzle Rifle", but officially is called the "PHaSR". Here is the only known and released photo of this weapon:

Now, doesn't this look like something out of the Halo game? Read the official story here strait from the source: http://www.army.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/73

Same tactic as I use at very long ranges. But then everybody dies too soon and then the fun is over. :(

That "dazzle-rifle" weapon was used in the book "Daemon".

It does look very futuristic. I thought it was an electric guitar at first.

It looks too much like what people think a futuristic weapon would look like, as if whoever designed it put looks over practicality.
