My portal won't play and I think it's because my computer is too old. I viewed the file integrety and I defragged it. How can I fix this!?

Seeing as you can't run Team Fortress 2 because your CPU (some old AMD Athlon which I can't remember the model name of) doesn't support SSE2, I'd say it's very likely your CPU can't run Portal 2 either.
