Hey there!

Just wondering what everyone's favourite audio software is, cause i'd like to know if there are any good ones i've missed/haven't used.

My preferred is FL Studio 10.0.7, along with MASSIVE made by Native Instruments and Z3TA +2 by Cakewalk. I also have used Reason5 until i got Windows 8... cause it doesn't work on windows 8. Logic for MAC can be a real pain in the ass but MASSIVE does work with it, but i still don't like using Logic.

I muck around in FLstudio for VST's and Reaper for basic audio editing.

My producer friend urges me to use Ableton though.

i've used ableton, the interface is uglier than my cat's litterbox. Never liked it, seeing as how i couldn't get anything to work. Never heard of Reaper, so... skitters to go google it

I used Goldwave for audio editing back in the day, but it's pretty barebones by today's standards I'm sure.

Goldwave, since all i do is cropping and cue points. I have plans to learn fruity Loops Studio to compose music, but i'm lazy and have yet to cbf..

Goldwave, because it's the only one I really know. And it's free.

I use Audacity. It's fine for most of my editings.

My Audacity lacks extensions so I supplement it with adobe soundbooth. Everything else is FL Studio 5.

No idea what's up with newer versions of FL. Never needed to upgrade for any reason ever.

I used FL Studio before, but now I'm using Sony ACID Pro because I find it much faster and easier to work with.
