I WAITED IN A QEUEUE FOR 35 MINUTES SO I COULD DOWNLOAD WALLY THE TEXTURE EDITOR! I HAD ON MUTE LEFT AND IT STARTED OVER!!! WHY DOES THE INTERNET HATE ME SO?

Anyone know where I can downlaod a good version of it that DOSN'T have a qeueue?

You should bookmark this site, its a great resource.

Did you use fileplanet? If not, you need to, when you finish in line your download starts auto so you dont need to go to the back of the line.

3dgames or whatever gamedesign.net is hosted on has looooong queues, I remember when their prefab site was up, on larger ones I had to wait 45 mins during the day to DL, and 15 at night.

I know; t'was ridiculous. Waiting an hour to download a 6KB file.

Yup. I'm thinking of subscribing to FilePlanet, I use it so much during peak hours that I don't like waiting to download my files. Especially waiting on my modem....I miss a lot of calls....

FilePlanet is the biggest, most disgusting, scam of all time. I cant help but question the fact that they want people to PAY to subscribe for a 'faster' service - maybe just because all you want is a patch or simple utility. Patches among other things are supposed to be free. They are not worth paying for either!

FilePlanet is a money-grabbing, tight, chicken-arsed bastard-of-a-site waiting to piss us off!

As for the stupid que system, I remember when there wasnt one in place, and I tell you what I had absolutely no hassle during that time -- until this stupid que was introduced. I try to avoid fileplanet like the plague.

try searching ftp sites with alltheweb or something, someone always keeps a mirror handy
