I have IE6 and have the recent Windows Updates and the latest IE update to my knowledge. I am the system admin, but when I go to change some options in IE it gives me an error; "This Operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on your computer. Please contact your SysAdmin." However, I can change them when I'm in this TWHL window. Ideas on why I can get it to work in one window and not the other?

Also, clicking download links doesn't show the DL window so I can't see the status. Anyone know how to force this window to show? (I can't save target on some links like on csnation and FilePlanet so that's not an option). I assume its somewhere in Options but I can't seem to find it.

I've never heard of a download-hiding problem with IE. I know you can disable "downloads", but... go for Opera. IE is a stolen c.1992 browser and Microsoft don't seem to have done much to it since.
