you could only have 2 NPC's following but you met alot more in the same area? i was playing through it again (i really got carried away when doing something with a .dem and went on through to we got hostiles) and i couldnt get a squad of 3 barneys and a sci! sucks.

In a situation with lots of enemies, I just use the spawn command to spawn loads of barney's and escape from the area.

I've had 2 sci's following me once, couldn't get three to follow me.

ive had three barns follow me (office complex)
but then on difficult setting only 2 could follow me

It might be possible to change that in the SDK. In OppFor they did that with the friendly grunts, you can have 5 grunts or more follow you.
