I can't play in direct 3d! Blah! Only Half-life works for 92.8 % (some times lockups too). Please tell me where can i find files for upgreading my BIOS (it's from 1998 ). I don't have things for flashing also. Please tell me where to look or better place to ask (i don't know any good tech forum). Thx for any replies.

Use OpenGL then. It's better anyway.

As for flashing your BIOS, try a more techie forum like here.

OpenGL is NOT better for Unreal Tournament AND is cousing same problems. But thanks for that link i hope that was the forum i was looking for.

He's saying he cannot play anything in D3D for some reason, and the only thing that does run is HL, which experiences crashes as well.

Do you have the latest DirectX drivers and the latest drivers for your video card?

Funnily, I had problems with blender3d and truespace not rendering in 3d UNTILL I intstalled my half life onto this puter. Wierd, no?

Speaking of video settings, how come NS can only run in OpenGL?
