Just click on the IRC just below where it say's forums. Make sure you are regestered though.

In your icechat thingy, try to connect to irc.chatbear.com. Thats vercs official server - then go to #twhl.

You don't really need to pay for mIRC either. After 30 days it just says "You've been using this program for 30 days now" and flashes couples of times when you start it up

jaardsi's guide to mIRC
1. Download and install mIRC
2. Load it up
3. Set up your name
4. Type '/connect irc.ircbear.com' to connect to the irc.ircbear.com server
5. Type '/join #twhl' to join the TWHL's very own channel (or chat room, what some idiots tend to call it)
6. Have an 'interesting' conversation
