When I try to compile my map, everytihng goes ok, no error msgs or other bad stuff, but when hlvis starts, it compiles, but stops at LeafThread and doesn't finish! I've waited for about a hour, but it's still there! What should I do? PLZ help!!! :zonked:

Read the tutorials about compiling and map sizes, if your map is very large and open, or you used a big box textured with sky to cover your map, and you need to read tut's about skies.

Your map is still compilling. It may look as if it's frozen but it hasn't. If you check out Batch Compilling (see Tutorial) you'll see that it hangs on that particular stage but doesn't freeze. This is caused by:

1) Ginormous maps
2) Insanely detailed maps
3) Skyboxed maps

Just be patient with the compile process. Walk away from the computer while it's working so you aren't distracted by anything.

And please post it in the correct forum next time. This type of thread should be in "General Mapping Questions".

And please be patient while waiting for an answer. We can't all be on at the time when you need it.
