Can someone post the following at snark pit for me, I don't have an e-mail, so I can't become a member there. Tell me I if I should not ask this kind of question for you.

My Question:

How do I put those moveable ground turrets to be the player's ally, just like in single player when Alyx said she 'reprogramed' them?

NEVER MIND THIS ANY MORE I FIGURED IT OUT!

It is really simple, all you have to do is put in an 'ai_relationship' entitie and have the object being the turrets and the target being '!player'. You must have the ! before player or it wont work. It also works with any other person, striders, combine, ect. (I only tested it withe the turrets, though).

And you also set the disposition property to 'Like'.

No, I did google it but I found nothing only one question about turrets in multiplayer on snark pit. And I don't have a new thread, it is an older one.
Posted 19 years ago2005-01-13 21:26:39 UTC Post #83646
And it was not a dead thread, because the last post before the I posted said I should post the answer when I figured it out.

AND ONE LAST THING, DON'T ASSUME THAT I WAS NOT 'SMART' ENOUGH TO GOOGLE BEFORE I POSTED.

AT LEAST I FIGURED IT OUT BEFORE YOU DID, BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD CITIZEN AND POST THE ANSWER IT YOU DID KNOW THE ANSWER.
Posted 19 years ago2005-01-13 22:28:49 UTC Post #83655
The thing is is that i didnt know the answer. I never said i did nor wanted to.

And i dont care if you figured it out before me. Do you feel special now?

ANd by smart i meant dont ask questions before you do your research.
