After googles sucsess with gamil, do you think a "GMessenger" is coming?

BTW: I've got 4 invites for anyone who is interested.

1GB free webmail is INCREDIBLE. It also has POP3 support so there is no reason not to like it :)

GMessenger, I doubt it. I think there was speculation but not enough interest - With MSN, AIM and YIM, to an extent, dominating the AIM market, it's hard to gather new users, and to get old ones to convert. If GMessenger could contact AIM, MSN and YIM users, then it might be popular.

You can use a Gmail account with MSN though D:

I've heard talk of a Gmessenger, and, if my memory serves me correctly, the possibility of a Gbrowser. Couldn't swear to it, though.

Didn't know Gmail used POP3?

gmessenger would be dumb, since you can just get your gmail address a passport and use MSN messenger. However, gmail is awesome, no doubt about that.

there is nothing wrong with gmail. there is still alot of speculation about it on the internet, but thats mostly just paranoid nuts who are scared by the fact that a company has the ability to give out free 1gb email accounts.

btw, no, they dont keep your email in their archives. you can still permenantly delete them.

i wish i could sacrifice my 1 gig of email for web space :)

You called?

Gmail is good value. 1gb for free is incredible, but they monitor your emails and place advertisments into your inbox based on the emails you are recieving, which is stupid. Although, I suppose if you use thunderbird or something else with a spam filter, you should be ok. But anyway, you asked me to say, so I will say it! Gmail is crap. Happy?
m0p m0pIllogical.

Im gonna need to use that POP3 email, then.

GMX offered 1GB from about the moment Google announced they even had the intention of doing so. Plus they've always offered POP3, and it's ad-less. Oh, and the spam filters are superb.
