**
When I tried to start CFG scape, this error showed up:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

What's wrong?
Without gcfscape, I can't make mods for HL2.. >_<
:x

Please help me! :)

Do you have the .NET Framework (or whatever)? Are you using an old version of GCFScape? That's all I could think of.

its one of two things: You either have steam open when you attempt to open a gcf or, as dandyli0n` stated, you need the .NET Framework installed. You can find it somewhere at www.microsoft.com

Don't use gfc scape, get Jed's Half Life Model Viewer, it can open gfcs and paks.

I want to open GCF's cuz I need some HL2 files so I can make a mod..
So, is it posseble to copy HL2 files from gcf-files to an other place with Jed's Half Life Model Viewer?

Never knew that...but not only that, you can run it with Steam!
