i know but my friend said some of its real but only about 1% if your lucky lol he said he got a i-pod for free and he has one so i just want to find that 1% of the scams that give you stuff.

i do know a place though. what you have to do is collect these weird coins, and when you have enough of them, you can go to apples official website and exchange the coins for an iPod. try that.

You DO get free stuff, but its a screwed up scam still. You have to sign up for some thing and have like 20 other people sign the same thing and then someone pays for it or something like that. Its something stupid that I know.

ya those free (insert item here) ads are total scams. they make you sign up for about emails from like 50 different companies, then you have to sign up for promotional offers and give out all your personal information. ya you could get it for free but you would have to sell your soul to do so. better just to buy it (or steal it

believe it or not, just because they're not as powerful as PC's, that doesn't actually mean that every game sucks. at its current state, my xbox is actually more powerful than my PC. and, just because microsoft made it, it doesn't automatically make it suck. well, under normal circumstances it would, but this is a special microsoft product. (it works)

Consoles are acceptable for light, quick play / final fantasy series. For all other genres and game types, the PC is better.

IMO, consoles are the best choice for fighting, sports, cars and platform games among others.
PC is the winner when it comes to first person shooters or strategy games.
Other software like RPGs or third person games can be good or bad in either console or PC (I prefered to play Tomb Raider on the console but Max Payne on PC, and I have played Final Fantasy's on both PC and console...)

I only prefer consoles for Street Fighter 2--Super Nintendo--, and I might buy one to play Time Crisis, 'cause far as I know, PCs can't operate with a Light gun.

gamepadI have a gamepad, but it's kind of hard to find another one to play a 2-player game like the old Tekken3. Those kind of games are better enjoyed with 2 or more gamepads, a big TV and couch
(And dont quote me on the TV and say: use the TV-out feature of the 3d card because I've already tried and it's not the same...
Anyway, games like the Tony Hawk series are so different if the gamepad has rumble capability, etc

Actually, thats a good point. Somewhere along the line a bastardisation of tv, console and puter will arrive. Idiots will flock to it and buy this all in one entertainment system, and the market will follow. Things will prolly get so dumbed down that upgrading a pc will become impossible. Mate, backtrack to the days of the SNES and even the NES. In Japan, Nintendo released various devices that basically allowed the user to use their console as a PC, complete with a basic form of Internet access. These devices included stuff like Keyboards. In fact, Mario Paint for the SNES (quite popular it was when it came out) came with a Mouse for the SNES, so you could use it to paint all sorts of crap.

yeah, even the dreamcast (we shall never forget!) had a keyboard for online play (which sucked, because the cheating was so bad people could delete your character on phantasy star online just by casting a healing spell on you).
