is this thing a bug that just kinda happens in lockdown, or is it just an exploit?
So far its happened to me on every single server that plays lockdown.

It's an exploit people use to crash servers, not particularly funny at all. myg0t are in on the craze.
I've updated the Snarkpit server with a plugin to counteract this "bug", and added a pretty extensive list of ID's caught using the bug to their advantage or to crash the server.

Naaah habboi, I only select top quality maps made by people registered on The Snarkpit - that was the whole idea when I bought the server 
We do playtests as well for Snarkpit mappers and their beta creations, although they're quite irregular (and on hold until the site returns)

Trust me habboi, I have played Half Life a lot lot lot lot longer than ye and there ISN'T any more maps worthy of server time - plenty of playtest time for those who want to improve though
