Help with Entity properties

I can't seem to select entity properties at all. Its odd. This is what I do. I create an entity, then hold alt then press enter. The Entity properties pop up, but there are no classes to select. Nothing there at all. Any help?

what your describing sounds like your selecting a blank wall rather than an entity...
I know its simple, but try checking your selections, try right c;icking and select properties, or, if all else fails restart hammer

You've probably selected "ignore groups". Turn that off and try again.
