my problem is: i got linux on my computer,and i cant get hammer to work on my wine (transgaming point2play) and gtkradiant for linux dont got a half life editor.
i can only make map on my friends computer.

please help me!!

get a cheap 2nd hand copy of Windows 98 and have a dual OS PC?

You could use VMWare, too, or, as MNuTz said, dual-boot (since that's pretty much a necessity if you actually want to play any modern games).
