I've been trying and trying to get a room started. But all I get, even when following tutorials is this. http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/9444/wtf2nu.gif
Someone help me please. How do i apply textures or anything?

On the 1st screen, you'll notice that is says "Camera". Click that, and hit "3D Textured".

rofl, this pops up so often in the forums.. it seems kinda silly that valve defaulted it to wireframe

Thanks a lot. I figured it out and made my first map that turned out pretty good.

For some reason the walls are wierd and have a stutter to them.

But when I am close to them they look fine, what should I do?

Also, I want a teleport point. I set up the entity to a box at the end. But where is the option for the destination I don't see it.

You have a leak. A leak is an opening to the void, and those weird stutter is the leak. Thats why your map probebly has poor framerate and is fullbright. Close that leak. :)

Overlapping brushes can cause walls to flicker.

The brush entity, trigger_teleport, is the start. The point entity, info_teleport_destination, is the destination.
