I'm not sure about my favorite moment but I know that the my most memorable moment was the argument between me and the rest of TWHL on r_speeds. Most of you should remember it, some of you might not.

Redner speeds. Its how many world brush polygons the game draws at once. One full texture(unlooped) I think adds 2 wpoly to the r_speeds. This is why strecthing textures can lower r_speeds and shrinking them can raise r_speeds.
Do a search on the forums for de_full_city if you want to see the argument, there are probably 2 or 3 threads on it.

Ah, memories. It will be my third year here come October, and boy, what a 3 years it has been. I cam as a noob, and now I'm a moderator here, and an operator on #twhl.

I still recall the week that contained the biggest controversy TWHL ever fac ed: the hack. Boy, there were some heated IRC arguements against jaardsi and m0p (helped by me): I remember Andy going totally berserk at them, as well as the rumour that went around that Atom was going to shutdown the site. Good times...

I also remember the time when TWHL was still relatively small, and all the members that have since moved on. T'was a very different TWHL to the one most of you know today, but I'm sure Alex, ZombieLoffe and the others will know what I'm talking about.

The war against Jimmi lasted for about 2 days... It really staretd when Jimmi created the account atom. (note the period mark) and he said that he was shutting down TWHL. When it got out that he was Jimmi there was total rampage. 3 threads started, all Jimmi flame threads. One of them almost resulted in ME getting banned to (seventh may remember that) anyways, it was a large battle, but we were victorious in the end.

Good > spam

I believe the threads were all deleted, so i have no reference
