The model is embarrassing. But the texture kinda makes it looks alright. It's not alligned right in the front, but I don't mind, I didn't want to continue after like half an hour.

I swear, if you guys saw the wireframe you would laugh. I think I'll post it in a day or two.

I think its good texture application. Applying textures to models is sometimes annoying, so I think its good :)

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you look close it says 5.7 x 28 close tho the barrel.

Well, its a heck of a lot better then what i can do with blender.

its a piggie!

Texture is nice, model looks a bit bland. But I agree, it looks ok with that texture.
m0p m0pIllogical.

You should agline the mash to the texture. I can see little bright gray bits that seround the gun in the texture. Is that gun 2 dimentional? It looks like it's just a falt outlay of the gun with a texture on it.

Agh! Be more thoughtful of these things. Normally I'm not picky about guns but the FiveseveN is a real and very common gun just like the glock. Bwah!

Good model by the way. Doesn't live up to my standards though, I've been spoiled by Source converts and CDG for too long now :)

Its a FnN five seven, the funny thing is F(ive)(&)n(seven). Developed as a sidearm for the FnN P-90, sharing the same bullets.

Cant make out anything, did you make the texture yourself?

Textures are indeed annoying, that is why they invented the Uv coordinates. Thus allow us to unwrap the model and put it in a texture.

There's only one "n" in "FN". The company is Fabrique Nationale.

Yes your right, should have been Five-seveN. Hence the capital letters. I always mix that name up.

I wasn't joking when I said this, It is really a bad model. It seriously took me less than half an hour, from finding reference to texture.

The reason that I posted this is because I decided that I would make a Five-seveN but I decided that there were other things that I would rather be modeling. So I just stopped, But most of the outline was there, so I slapped the reference picture on a as a texture. (Mortal sin, I know) And because the picture had shadowing on it, it kinda looked like it was the render adding the shadows. I was taken aback, so I figured that I would show you guys what a self shadowed texture can do for a model that you will only see from head on. Seventh-Monkey was right, I could have just used to reference model from that angle, And I practically did.

Now here is the long awaited model XD

I thought it will be something like that... It didn't have any of the renderer's shadows only the picture's.
