Looks like my last journal entry time (8:37) is Pacific-Daylight-Savings time or something. It was posted at 12:37 EDT (16:37Z).

Yeah, the times in a lot of the site sections don't actually follow the user preferences. TWHL3... well, obviously...

its working on a 24 hour cape town time cycle. after 00:00 cape town time you can post another entry. this site was after all started as a experiment in php by a guy in south africa

What time zone is South Africa?
If you're running Windows, open up your Date and Time Properties and check the time zone.

I just tried again to post. I know its been over 24 hours and yet it says that I already posted today. Somehow its 24 hour cycle is borked. The origin shouldn't matter as long as it has been over 24 hours since I replied.
It's probably twenty-six hours. If not, I have no idea.
