well if you click on the little black compass, and move the little white arrow arround...

then you can change the direction...

btw,
it goes from the middle out, so if its pointing -> then its 0 deg, so it wil blow you that way ->>

The angles aren't pointing up and down, they're a bird's-eye-view. I know it's irritating sometimes waiting for forums answers, but people might not be on sometimes when you are ;)

What's wrong with your doors? Kinda helps if you tell us, you know.

It works with almost every entity - that doesen't show up errors in hammer " entity x has unused keyvalues "

If you're talking about rotating doors, then you need to change the flags.. and the origin brush

the angle or PYR property affects nearly all of the point entities as well...

in fact, its a very usefull property for making doors, rotating the axis of rotating objects etc...

ya dude... for doors... the initial angle is set by the brush u made it with.... you set the number of degrees to move in the appropriate keyvalue for its entity....

up-down doors are a mess. try using "opposite direction" flags and those things, i dont remember. Fiddle around with angles and flags till you got it right. and dont forget the origin for rotatings.

yeah the origin brush is a texture. Make a door. Don't make it too thick. Then make a small brush along the door (where the hinge would be) witht the origin texture. Then, click the door, hold ctrl, and click the hinge. To entity. Now you have a swinging door instead of a door which slides open.
