When I set my func_percipitation to "snow" it doesn't work. It is rain, and there is ALOT of it. I want to make it lightly snowing.

Snow doesn't work...That is all...HOWEVER I'll share my secret...

Make a brush, tie to env_ember or an entity with the word ember...I forgot the name. Now go to properties, set colour to a blue / white colour and set to fall down. Set how much you want shown etc...

Problem with it is I am unable to set it to constantly snow...It snows for a bit then suddenly the flakes dissapear but then a few seconds again they re-appear and this repeats...It isn't so bad if you set float time to a high number.

Also this can be stressful on low end cards.

The reason that the snow function on the func_percipitation doesn't work is because it is missing a certain sprite. If you can find this sprite and place it in the correct directory, it should work. That is, if valve didn't deactivate it in the code with one of their updates.

The snow sprite should be there, VALVe added it in a SDK update ages ago. Double check on that.

A cone with a scroll-textured would be the easiest way, although not the best looking.
