Anyone know how to get me Environment up? Ever since I accepted Coal as a resource, it has dropped =( Its at 2.5 stars now, and it used to be at 3.5. What factors can I adjust to improve it? the Forum description wasnt much help, it said adjust the infrastructure/people ratio, and access to water, and stuff. I buy infrastructure every day, with almost all of my money, and my population isnt dense. The only thing that I can see that would have an effect would be the coal. =(

Water is a good one. Increases your environment level by 10%
Also, resources like coal, oil, uranium and so and so decrease your environment level.
Sooooo.
Get some water and get rid of your coal and itll get better. Also, purchase more land, that helps too.

I dont want to ditch my coal, because it is tied to my Steel, which gives me -2% infrastructure cost. I already have water, which gives me beer for +2 Happiness. So I have to buy more land? It says I am not densely populated with 54.11 people/sq. mile. Maybe the update isnt automatic, We will see, but at this point, im down to 2/5 stars =(.

I know that going below 25 people per land increases either happiness or environment. Try one of those.

Dorian, if you want to keep your enviorment clean keep the infaucture 2 times bigger then your land, not higher.

hmm, that doesnt seem to be my issue, I have 3.2 miles of land, and an infrastructure level of 5.0. My people also like their religion and government type.
and all. My happiness is 16.18, so i dont know whats wrong there. Maybe my taxes are too high? they are at 20%, but i kinda need a high rate, because I only make around $1k a day. bleh, ill lower it, and see what happens.
Edit: I lowered my taxes to 16 % and happiness is up to 17.18, but the environment didnt change. Does anyone know if the environment is calculated ona daily basis, rather than instantly?
Edit Edit: I read a little more into it, my lack of technology, and improvements account for my poor environment, I guess you just shouldnt focus on Environment on the early stages of the game.

Its not calculated on a daily basis. And you probably wont get improvements for awhile, they're damn expensive.

How do you make your people so happy? My people's happiness is only 12.70, thanks to technolgy. My economy is getting better. It's not 59$ and I still have that annoying event that reduces 5$ from the income. Without it I'll have a much better economy... 64$.

GATO is at war with NPO. I just hit a guy, and he lost a fifth of his army.
I lost about 30 percent of my income because citizen happiness is down, but im sure i can beat this guy if he doesnt get reinforcments.

and I love the CGS/TBC. although its in a quick transition to become the dominant black team allience it is really well organised. there team only boards are great.
and now there is a well planned full out offensive against the NPO, and the Npo and IGC if they attack first.
over 50 nukes have been lauched over the last week. its WWIII on a PC!
