Well, they're saying that once you get the aid its considered as a loan now and such and such so we have to stay as members for a month before we can leave or else it counts as a loan that we have to pay back. So people will probably wait a month.

I'm actually the former intelligence agent of the GIOC.
My mission here was to "infect" this forum with Cybernations, In hopes that we would have a new alliance to join the FGF (a group of gaming alliances, I can't remember what it stands for). Sadly the Game Informer Online Coalition has recently disintergrated, and I'll be joining a different alliance created by two other former members of the GIOC.
So I'll be leaving this alliance, wich would have happened anyway. my parting advice is that you might want to find a way to get more members, perhaps by making the alliance public so people that are not from the forum can join. Or you could try my snarkpit idea.

Location really has no impact on the game, nor does the background color. Im in the Fiji islands, off the northern coast of Australia, if you care to join me there =D I also suggest that you say War is an option. It helps your economy. Saying you will not fight kills your economy, and you cant wage war for like the first few days anyway, so you have nothing to worry about. When you get your account set up, post your name, nation, and resources, and maybe we can trade =D

Also, on my Zoylevon nation, i got to either chose -2 happiness, or +10 infrastructure cost, and -5% military. so i chose -2 happiness. Thats pretty BS if you ask me, there was no positive outcome from that.

The military I didnt mind much, but +10% to infrastructure cost? thats a big leap. I can barely buy 1 infrastructure a day, that will lower it even more.
Also: What did you choose for the latest poll? I selected the stock market one. An alternate way to make money would be neat, like gambling.

Isn't the military thing seperate from the infrastructure cost?
I think i might go with stock market too. But ships and airplanes ctaches my eye for its economical uses.

In my event I missread and chose -$5 income instead of 10% land size... this sucks... it's a big hit on my economey since I'm a new nation.

Theres a new feature called global radiation in which, when a nuclear weapon is fired, the rating goes up for every nation in the game.
In my opinion, it adds realism but the whole environmental effect thing is going to damage me even more if people keep firing nukes.
