I mainly do CS maps.. and started to think that the map i have done would really be cool as in a single player map in half life too. So I remember from Resident Evil the movie (1) when they are going in to the computers room. Lasers in a small glass "corridor".. I love the idea for that in half life or possibly cs. Any suggestions and tip for doing similar to this?

Someone around here was working on one.. It looked really good, but he never finished the "core" room, so he didn't release it.

Its really hard to do, becasuse its a lot of func_trains to have the beams start and end from in an enclosed space. read the train tut and the env_beam tut. and look in the example map section too.

and if you ever decide to build a full laser box, my only advice is to make as many copies of the room as you have lasers, plan out one laser path in each room, then when your all done delete the copies and move all the setups into one room

Didn't alexb911 have something like this in one of his maps? I'm not sure if they were moving though :

There's a mod called Life's End, it's in the Vault. He's got one of them in there, really well done, too.
