HI !!
I?m making my map and i want to add some objects , like trees ( props_static) and some physics objects, maybe even an elevator !, But they are too big for my room !!!! And i can rezise them , is there a way i can make them smaller ?? :cool:

Uhh, yeah there is but it is more of an advanced move. I have never done it myself but I believe you are supposed to decompile a model open it up in XSI and then scale it down. Anyone correct me if I am wrong. :)

I recall there was a guide that suggested a custom program where you drag, click and done.

Other idea is basically editing the .qc file of the model in notepad and changing the scale number.

if u resize a model dont u always have to add the "new" file to the files u distribute?

Decompile the model. Open its .qc file. Under scale, change the value. Drag it onto studiocompile. There are more steps. If you need help, pm me and I can go into more details.

Yes if you resize it changes it...BUT it still shows for everyone who tries the map however the size would be normal.

I should of mentioned you rename the prop. Then you package the new model with the .BSP.
